Delivered the Carlson Quarryman Pro 3D Scanner and provided a training course for TPI Polene PCL at TPI Mine, Kaeng Khoi, Saraburi.

On October 18–19, 2023, our Surveying Instruments Division delivered the Carlson Quarryman Pro 3D Scanner and provided a training course for TPI Polene PCL at TPI Mine, Kaeng Khoi, Saraburi.
On the first day of training, there was a theoretical session about blasting planning and analysis using a 3D Scanner and Borehole Deviation System. Then our instructor explained parts of the equipment and how to maintain the equipment in good condition and ready to use.
The second day of training, our instructor did the field training in mine. With a speed of 250 points per second and a scan range of up to 750 m, they were able to collect the mine profile and blast holes in no time. The on-board software was also friendly to all users. In the afternoon was the processing software session with Carlson BlastOPS. This powerful program allowed users to register and consolidate multiple scans, generate precise and clean 3D surfaces, hole coordinates, volumes, and profiles, design blast patterns using standard parameters, compare blast designs to as-drilled hole surveys, draw inclusion lines to indicate blast perimeter, report, and so on. This system ensures that each blast will produce a worthy and efficient result.
