On September 2, 2026, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Technical College invited our Surveying Instruments Division to deliver a lecture and demonstration on the Trimble R780 GNSS and Trimble TDC6 for Construction Department students, enhancing their knowledge and practical experience with modern surveying technology.
Students learned the working principles of GNSS, the fundamentals of satellite-based surveying, and familiarized themselves with various surveying tools and equipment.
Students gained hands-on experience using the Trimble R780 paired with the Trimble TDC6, covering everything from device connection, configuration, and Job creation for data storage to RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) coordinate measurement.
Students also learned how to process field survey data using Trimble Business Center (TBC), gaining a complete understanding of the end-to-end workflow from field data collection to practical application. Throughout the event, the students showed great interest, active participation, and enthusiasm for exploring modern surveying technologies and instruments.
