“Nikon Centre of Excellence (NCoE)” at the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University (Rangsit Center)
The Faculty of Medicine at Thammasat University, in collaboration with Nikon Singapore and Hollywood International Ltd., officially inaugurated the “Nikon Centre of Excellence (NCoE)” at the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University (Rangsit Center) on April 22-23, 2026.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior executives from all three sectors, who discussed collaborative approaches to applying advanced imaging technologies to support in-depth research. The NCoE serves as a strategic hub that integrates academic expertise with Nikon’s World-Class Technology and provides technical support from Hollywood International Ltd., the authorized distributor.
A key highlight of the center is the installation of the latest Nikon AX R NSPARC Confocal Microscope, featuring high-speed scanning and ultra-high-resolution imaging capabilities. This system is further enhanced by NIS.ai Intelligent Processing Software, which uses Artificial Intelligence for image analysis, enabling researchers to overcome previous limitations in studying complex sample structures more efficiently.
