From February 9–13, 2026, the Survey Instruments Division conducted a training program for officials from the Royal Forest Department on the operation of the Trimble R980 GNSS Receiver at Siam Grand Hotel, Udon Thani Province. The sessions covered the integrated use of the Trimble R980 GNSS Receiver with the Trimble TSC7 and Trimble TSC5 Field Controllers, followed by hands-on field practice in Static and RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) surveying. The collected data were processed using Trimble Business Center (TBC). By the end of the program, participants gained a solid understanding of surveying techniques and were able to apply the data effectively to improve the accuracy and efficiency of their work.
